Transaction statuses

The table below lists the currently available transaction statuses. Additional statuses may be introduced in the future.

If an unknown status is received, it is up to your implementation to decide how to handle it — one possible approach is to simply ignore it.

Status	Description	Is final	Next possible statuses
PENDING	The transaction is being processed and is awaiting confirmation or cancellation from the payment provider.	No	AUTHORIZED (only for card payments), SUCCESS, FAILED
AUTHORIZED	The payment amount has been successfully reserved on the customer’s account, but the funds have not yet been captured. The transaction is approved and ready for capture or further processing. This status applies only to card payments.	No	SUCCESS, FAILED
SUCCESS	The transaction has been completed successfully.	Yes
FAILED	The transaction failed to process.	Yes
